I'm done with high school!! I have officially finished my last day and couldn't be happier! I'm just gonna keep this one short because there's not much else to say to explain my elated state of mind

So, just a quick little update. I've been having a lot of fun lately with various mediums: chainmail, drawing, the typical mischief. I don't really have any big time projects a-brewin', so I'm just chilling out until the next big idea comes to me.

So a non-art update here would be that next fall I will be attending The Ohio State University so I can major in psychology. I'm super excited and yes, I know it's a big college. I'm looking forward to it either way. I am ready to be done with high school. While having fun studying at college, I will also be fencing for the OSU fencing team. That's going to be freaking awesome and I'm so excited to be fencing with such talented people.

So I figured I'd just post something here since the last time I updated my journal was in July. My latest project right now is a picture of Gene Kelly and Frank Sinatra [link])_03.jpg

It's on a really big piece of paper so we'll see if I can get in a good scan. I may just scan it in sections and then just post those up separately (or maybe I'll try photoshopping them together). We'll see. So as for getting stuff up here though, that's been a pain in the ass due to all of the stuff I've had to do. If I'm not fencing on the weekends, I'm with the marching band, and etc etc. For those that keep up with my fencing updates, I took 23/63 at the latest North American Cup and at the latest and first National Open Circuit, I took 9/48 which was fun and rather difficult. So there you have it. Basically the same old same old lol.

Hey all!

I just got back from summer nationals in San Jose, California!! I competed in two events: Divisions III and II for Women's Epee. Well, DivIII didn't go so well. I was knocked out first round by some newb. But to me, it doesn't matter.

I took 13th place out of 90 in DivII Women's Epee and received a ranking of a D.

You have no idea how happy I am!! I'll be posting up some of the sketches I drew during that lovely week of fencing and more fencing. Thanks for all the support to those who knew about it.

As many of you know, I've been drawing as many Metal Gear Solid characters as I can. Just so I can have an actual list somewhere for myself, the characters that I'm going to draw/have drawn are:
Snake from MGS3 and 4, Eva from MGS3 and 4, Ocelot from MGS3, Raiden from MGS2 and 4, The Boss from MGS3, Otacon, Johnny, Meryl from MGS4, Sunny, Sniper Wolf, Vamp, Olga, Campbell, Zero, The Sorrow, and possibly the BB corps (along with any of the other characters if I don't get sick of this by then lol).
